Solulink Incorporated and EMD Biosciences, Inc. ink licensing agreement
MADISON, WI, January 18, 2005: Solulink Incorporated (Solulink), a company that provides conjugation
products and services for the conjugation of proteins, oligonucleotides,
peptides and antibodies to one another and to solid surfaces
for array, research assay, diagnostic and therapeutics applications, today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement
with EMD Biosciences, Inc. (EMD Biosciences), a major supplier
of premium tools for proteomics and disease pathway analysis
known through its global brands Calbiochem®, Novabiochem®,
and Novagen®. EMD Biosciences is part of the Life
Science and Analytics (LSA) division of Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany) and operates as EMD Biosciences,
Inc. in North America and Merck Biosciences outside North America.
Under
the agreement, EMD Biosciences will license rights to use the
Solulink conjugation chemistry.
"Solulink is excited to have EMD Biosciences, a top-tier proteomics
provider with global reach, recognize the utility of Solulink's
