Description:

S-HyNic (SANH) introduces traceable HyNic (6-hydrazinonicotinamide) moieties onto proteins or other amine containing biomolecules and surfaces.  S- HyNic is an amine-reactive succinimidyl ester derivative of the acetone hydrazone of 6-hydrazinonicotinic acid.  S-HyNic reacts with primary amines on a proteins (ε-amino group of lysine), amino-modified oligonucleotides or surfaces introducing HyNic moieties that form stable bis-arylhydrazone-based conjugates with other biomolecules possessing 4FB (4-formylbenzamide) moieties.
