C6-HyNic(SANH) has a six carbon chain incorporated onto S-Hynic, one of SoluLink\'s most popular conjugation reagents. Works especially well for protein conjugations. Why would you need a six carbon linker ? The extended linker is useful when steric blocking interferes with conjugations especially in the conjugation of two rpoteins. Heterobifunctional linker used for making all types of conjugates by introducing aromatic hydrazines into biomolecules that are UV-traceable meaning the resulting conjugate is quantifiable. Reactive groups are NHS-ester and protected aromatic hydrazine. Reactive towards amino groups and aromatic aldehydes.
